In the minute someone gets a heart attack he doesn’t know what to do and he becomes helpless. If a person’s heart starts beating improperly or he is not feeling good, feeling some pain in the chest etc. they only have about 10 seconds before they lose consciousness and fall down.
But, you can do something which would help you. You should start coughing vigorously over and over again, and each time before coughing you should be taking a really deep breath. The cough should be very deep and continuous as if you are trying to cough out secret out of your lungs.
You should repeat the cough after taking breath process until the emergency arrives, or until you start feeling better, and improvement in the beating of your heart.
By taking deep breaths you are allowing the airflow from your lungs throughout your breathing system, and by coughing you are making movements which are pressuring the heart which then helps the heart maintain its circulation. The pressure on the heart is also responsible for the heart maintaining its normal rhythm. This is what heart attack patients should know so that they could get to the hospital in time and alive.
