A recent study has shown the effects of Brazil nuts, and they are amazing! A group of 10 participants has been consuming a single meal which had 0, 1, 4, or 8 Brazil nuts and the scientists have found that the cholesterol levels of the people consuming them have dropped significantly!
So, the levels of the bad LDL cholesterol in their blood, were lower than before only 9 hours after they consumed these nuts. The 20 points within a day are amazing compared to the statins which need somewhere about 4 days to get the same effect. So the scientists have measured the cholesterol levels of the group after five days, and once a month has passed, despite the fact that the participants did not consume Brazil nuts anymore. And even after the initial month, the bad LDL cholesterol levels of the participants were decreased because of the servings they consumed. You might have thought about this, but the Brazil nut industry did not actually fund this study. Plus the scientists found that four nuts are affecting the cholesterol better than eight nuts. And the regulation of the good cholesterol was affected too. This meant that the dosage of 4 nuts is the golden dose for a month, and in some bodies it lasts even longer!
The scientists have stated that a single serving of these nuts is enough “without producing liver and kidney toxicity,”talking about the high selenium content found in the Brazil nuts. But, 4 nuts monthly is not a thing that should be worrying you. And despite the fact that the practice says that it would be better if you wait for these studies to be confirmed throughout even more studies including even more people, now, we would advise you otherwise! This process is safe, tasty, cheap, affordable and easy and you should not leave it out!
